September 24-26 will mark this year's annual Murphysboro, Illinois contest. Held at the world famous 17th Street Bar & Grill, this year's event is being called "Praise the Lard" and will feature teams from all over the country. It has been rumored that The Learning Channel (TLC) will be on hand to film the event and highlight a few teams.

This year's event will also be dual sanctioned by KCBS and MBN. It should be a lot of fun, come on out!

Just got word from Jason...Smokey J's isn't going to be able to make it. He has to go through some training that weekend...it's the only time this particular training is being offered for this year. D'OH!!

Looks like it'll be up to you and me, Chuck. Bring your 'A' game!
